GunkDesign is the online portfolio of Edinburgh based designer Andrew Cetnarskyj. Currently empolyed as a web designer by 1st Class Media. Employment History

I am employed full time as lead web designer for 1st Class Media. My position involves working through projects from initial brief to the finished live site. I am proficient in XHTML, CSS and Flash Actionscript and have used all of these web technologies on various projects alongside 1st Class Media’s experienced ASP developers. Alongside 1st Class Media I have set up Discogunk, a content management system for DJ’s, promoters and clubs. Many projects are currently in development and will be on the new portfolio site soon.

Over the past 18 months I have built up my own portfolio of work and clients in both web and graphics projects for record companies, DJ’s and commercial businesses. My reputation for high quality work and fast turn around has recently won me many projects with independent record labels in Leeds and London.
BBC Interactive TV - White City, London | www.bbc.co.uk | April 2004 (1 Month Placement)
As part of my third year placement I worked for the BBC’s Interactive Television department as a junior designer supporting their Information & Factual Learning team. I learned many new skills about broadcasting, editing and filming. My views and opinions were accepted and recognised by senior designers and producers who allowed me to contribute to programmes that were broadcast later than year.
